Dear Colleagues,
Welcome to the International Symposium on Plum pox virus which will be held in Sofia, Bulgaria between September 5 and 9, 2010.
The Symposium is organized under the auspices of the ISHS and AgroBioInstitute, Agricultural Academy, Bulgaria.
International Symposium on Plum pox virus will coincide with the Research Workshop of SharCo project: “Containment of sharka virus in view of EU-expansion”part-financed by the European Community’s Seven Framework Programme (FP7/2007-2013) under Grant Agreement n°204429.
The Research Workshop is organized by AgroBioInstitute, Agricultural Academy, Sofia and is attended to disseminate project’s results among research community worldwide.
With the extension of Sharka disease worldwide, the present International Symposium and SharCo Research Workshop will be an excellent opportunity for scientists, to discuss their current work and to exchange ideas with the colleagues.
It is a great pleasure of the Organizing Committees of the two events to invite you to participate by submitting an abstract of a paper or poster for presentation at the symposium/research workshop.
The announcements, registration,abstract submission, hotel booking and other arrangements will be made available on the current symposium website. Therefore, it will be updated regularly to bring you further details about scientific and social programmes, travel, accommodation and other news.
